SpaceVPX System RF Module (SRFM-PS)
Frontgrade’s SRFM-PS is a 3U SpaceVPX RF Transmit/Receive Interface Module designed to plug into the RPS-9X-PS systems, providing direct-to-digital (D2D) conversion of RF signals up to S-band frequencies.
The System RF Module (SRFM) is a 3U SpaceVPX form factor companion building block available for integration in the RPS-9X-PS. The SRFM-PS provides direct-to-digital conversion of a single RF transmit and receive channel carrying frequencies from 600MHz-2600MHz (L/S band frequencies). The RF signals are converted through high-speed data converters interfacing over the 3U SpaceVPX backplane using JESD204B, where the RPM-PS can function as digital signal processing engine and support applications such as software defined radios.
